The Best Robot vacuum mop combo robot and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good choice if you're looking for an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It's got a fantastic mopping capability, but it lacks some of the features found in its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to tackle dust and dry oats on carpets with medium piles and pet hair on hard flooring. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to help you map your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the best-rated robots. It has a lot of features and impressive cleaning power, such as the dirt compartment integrated into the charging base. The robot also learns your habits of cleaning and suggest automated schedules for a truly hands-free experience.

It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the push of the button. You can opt for an overall clean that focuses on getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as cereal and rice or two detailed maps of your home to ensure that your home gets a proper look.

This robot vacuum is effective on floors that are unfinished and robot vacuum and mop carpets with a low pile. It can pick up pet hair and sucks large objects up. It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It's a challenge with high-pile carpets or plush carpets however iRobot promises that the next models will be more efficient.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which concentrates on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that uses an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes this will allow it hug walls and furniture. It's a great improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we found it to be marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features a superior filtration system, which prevents micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating in your home. It's a nice claim, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price cost.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to store the layout of your home and vSLAM to map the interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles like stairs and other barriers and also to clean your entire house in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundaries so that the robot knows what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those of higher-end models and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a better job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only drawback is that it lacks an additional rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but that's an affordable cost to pay for if you want one of the best robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank is larger than many of its rivals, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.

For the mopping device, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub off the tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes that are less abrasive than the more powerful ones, produce very little noise, which allows you to work or watch TV without distraction. It will gently bump into furniture or walls, and then move away whenever it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically transfers physical garbage into the bin hidden from view and washes and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is wrong, such as the water tank being empty or a cancelled vacuuming session due to an empty bin.

You can also design and merge actual rooms to alter the way that Q Revo treats your abode. This is a great feature if you have multiple areas of your home with different floor materials or if there's some clutter that needs to be removed frequently, like toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the best performers in my tests and was able to remove debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first pass. It can even vacuum up wet spills, though I recommend drying them using a clean cloth before bringing the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop and more. It comes with the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has a self-cleaning station that automatically washes and cleans mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also has a new sensor system that is able to better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.

The most notable improvement over the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its modern, sleeker design. This is thanks to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still big. It is more than two feet in the height and depth and weighs almost four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1, as it has faster battery charging and can handle a full cleaning of about 1,500 square feet on one charge. It also comes with a larger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Lastly, the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and an assistant voice that works offline, which means you can use it even if you're not home. It also has an intelligent routing feature that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home, instead of following a predetermined route.

The X2 Omni is the most effective robot at mopping. Its mop pads that rotate remove tough stains and its motor creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent as well and it enhances suction when it senses carpets to ensure that it does the job well. It comes with a huge, rechargeable battery that can last up to seven days. The mopping mode of the robot is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop that comes with a range of convenience features that you don't often see on robots in this price. It is able to create detailed floor maps and identify different flooring types. It's also one of the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are great however they can make the L10s more of a class of luxury. This might make it more expensive than homeowners need.

Designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish that's highlighted by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper, which protects furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage while moving around the home. Behind the pane at the front is an additional navigation technology with sensors that help the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, you'll find one button that basically serves as the on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, and pressing it again will turn off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The circular menu located in the center of the control panel allows you to select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons allow you to access the settings in the app, which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to help you map out your home. This helps the robot vacuum and mop effectively without getting stuck. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and recognize them, which is an excellent feature for households with pets or young children.

The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner, which removes 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hard floors and taking out all but stubborn juice stains. Its mops also do a great job, removing 98.4% debris from our tile, carpet and wood tests. It wasn't as effective in removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
